The 106th Giro d’Italia 2023
The Grand Partenza has been announced and it will start in Abruzzo with the Individual Time Trial along the Costa Dei Trabocchi. 18.4 kms along the Adriatic coast with a finish in Ortona. Stage 2 is also in Abruzzo which will start in Teramo finishing in San Salvo over 200 kms from one side of the region to the other, a day for the sprinters. Stage 3 starts in Vasto a beautiful town before the race heads south leaving Abruzzo. The race returns for Stage 7 when it will climb and finish at Campo Imperatore, Gran Sasso.
Dates for your diary
From 6th May Grand Partenza to 8th May for Stage 3 are in Abruzzo. Giro d’Italia returns for Stage 7 on Friday 12th.
